She is the Director of I CARE HOSPITAL.  She has completed her post-graduation in ophthalmology from South Gujarat University, SURAT. Following which she did Advance Cataract Surgery & super specialization In Phacoemulsification from L V PRASAD EYE INSTITUTE, HYDERABAD in 1994.

Dr. Nita Mehta was amongst the very first to perform Phacoemulsification surgeries in Vadodara, way back in 1996. She has always stayed at the forefront by adopting and embracing newer technologies to constantly upgrade the benefits to her patients.She was the earliest to adopt the MICS (Micro Incision Cataract Surgery via 2.2mm Incision) technique of Phacoemulsification in 2008.She has a vast experience of using Aspheric IOL’S,Toric IOL’S, Multifocal IOL’S and various Premium IOL’S.

Dr Nita Mehta has a vast experience in Refractive procedures. She has been performing LASIK since 2000. She runs the state of art LASIK center ‘Ultimate Vision Laser Center” since 2012 in Vadodara.

Apart from LASIK, she also performs Phakic IOLs and ICL for high myopic patients.

Dr. Nita has been invited as a Speaker at various State as well as National level Conferences.She has also attended many International Conferences. She has also done short term observer ship in Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, USA.
